The Zeiss Ikon Contarex "Bullseye" Camera is a German made 35mm SLR camera, so nicknamed for its prominent circular selenium light meter above the lens. This camera features a complex and ingenious design, including a focal plane shutter and a small aperture over the light meter which is coupled with the movements of the lens aperture. The camera is comprised of many metal parts, and is quite heavy at almost 3 lbs with a lens.
